We sloshed through the rain, far underprepared for a storm. Cold, and drinking beer that was colder, we waited along with a couple thousand people for Skrillex’s set to begin. Lighting ran across the sky. From behind one side of the mountains, light flashed. And then more came from behind the stage.

The music started and Skrillex entered.

and it was epic.

The path forked and we chose the one less traveled. We kept walking, up and up the hill, further from the main stage. Then we found ourselves on the service road. And then we got back to partying at the festival.
